Megan McGaha Whitehead joined McGaha Investments as a financial advisor in February 2022. Megan is passionate about helping families prepare for financial independence. She works with a variety of clients from young professionals to retirees. She works closely with these clients to provide the tools and advice they need to help them reach their personal financial goals.
Megan is also an Instructor of Finance at Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia. She teaches a variety of courses including personal finance, retirement planning, estate planning, entrepreneurial finance, and risk management and insurance. The combination of teaching and active advisory practice is an asset for both her clients and her students. She assists the Mulerider $ense student organization in promoting financial literacy on campus.
Megan holds a B.S. in Agriculture Business and an M.B.A., both from Southern Arkansas University. She is active in her church and works with the youth at First Baptist Church in Taylor and also serves on the board of the Walkers Creek/Stateline Public Water Authority, serving as its vice president. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family traveling, hiking, fishing, and hunting. Megan and her husband Dusty have been married for 16 years. They have three children; Wade, Mattie Rose, and Macie.
